feature request: text block background color

it would be cool if within a page each individual text block could have it's own background color, and maybe even options for frames a la photos.

A nice idea. Care would need to be taken to not allow users to upset the general appeal of the theme. Steve is very keen to always keep Snappages simple and ensure its output is always first class. This is why, for example, users don't get the ability to alter the font choice at any time. However, I agree that some more options regarding the presentation of Text Blocks would be welcome.
