Scrolling Marquee?

I want to add a news flash at the top of my page. I want it to scroll across the top like how the ticker goes across the tv screen. Will SnapPages allow this to be done?

while im fairly new to snap pages - i've already built a couple of sites in the last 30 days on here. and in my extensive time figuring out how everything works - i have not seen the scrolling functionality you are asking about.

of course - steve will post a response if what you are asking for is possible.

yes, that's correct. Currently this feature is not built into SnapPages.

It is easy with just plain JavaScript though, I used this one one on a SnapPages home page:

DynamicDrive's Cross Browser marquee (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/cmarquee.htm)

If you paste this JavaScript code into a code box that is dropped in a column in a multi-column layout, then the ticker will be the same width as the column.
