With you latest updates I still can't get google to verify or now recognize the sitemap.
Here is the error message returned from two attempts at sitemap

Unsupported file format
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

Then when I try the metatag route here is the error message

Verification status: NOT VERIFIED
Last attempt Mar 22, 2009: We couldn't find the verification meta tag

When I copy and paste the metatag to the SEO page the entire string does not show only a portion out of the middle, is that the problem and if so how to make snappages see the whole string, I have even typed the whole string out and no success.

We are a .org , does that make any difference?? any help would be appreciated.

The metatag section simply pulls out the only piece of code that it needs and then uses it on your site, so you shouldn't see the whole string appear, just the code that is unique to your site. I will look into the sitemap issue as it is possible that perhaps something is causing yours to have a formatting error. If you still can not get the metatag to work for verification, can you send me the code that google gave you so I can test on my end?

Here is the metatag that google is giving me. I tried it again this morning and got the same results.

I'm not sure why they are saying that it can't be found. If you go to the website and you right click on the page and select "view source" you will see that the exact metatag you mentioned above is actually on your site. Let me know if this is still not verifying for you.
