Adding paragraph after bullet points

Is this possible, because I could not figure it out?

I entered text in paragraph format, then some bullet points and then I wanted to add another paragraph or sentence without a bullet point but could not.

Try selecting the text that you don't want bulleted and then click on the bullet button again. If you click on it once it should add bullets and if you click on it again it should remove them.
