How do you display a favicon in browser tabs, etc. for your site rather than the SnapPages favicon? I have looked through the Forum and help sections but can't seem to find anything on this topic.

Thanks,

Still curious about the favicons? Can they be changed?

This is a feature that is not currently available on the site, but I've been working on it and hope to have it out in the next big update to the site (which should happen pretty soon).

New user. Love SnapPages. I would also like to do this. Let members know when the feature becomes available.

Recognizing that is probably a lot of work to integrate a favicon producing tool, it would be fantastic if we could have the opportunity to upload an existing favicon to apply to our site.

Thanks,

Actually with the way I have it setup you will be able to upload a standard jpeg, gif, or png and it will handle the conversion for you since most people don't know how to make .ico files.

And if I already have a favicon, will it allow me to upload it?

You'll all be happy to know that you can now add favicons if you have a Pro account (formally known as the Premium account).

I uploaded my logo as a favicon but it only shows up when I view my site from within snappages http://kimberlim.snappages.com/.

If I go to my site www.thunderwheelcomm.com, it still shows the snap pages logo. And yes, I cleared my cache but it still shows up. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks, Kim

Thanks for letting me know about this. It seems it was working if you left off the "www." but I fixed it now so it should be working for both.

I'm trying to figure out exactly where and how to upload my favicon. Not seeing in the Web Pages app. Thanks.

It's not in the web pages app. If you go to the home screen and click on the settings tab you'll see an option there for "branding". Click here and you can upload your favicon.

Thanks, Steve. We were able to upload the favicon successfully and it displays when using Mozilla or Google Chrome but it won't show up when using IE. One of your staff members let us know it seems to be a problem with IE that you're trying to work around (?). Oh well, it's better than nothing.

Yeah there isn't much you can do about it because IE caches those differently then the other browsers. It should clear up but it takes a while with IE.
