No, there is currently not a way to do this. We will be offering more customized forms in the future.

'no current way to do this'... err - just add an extra field (please) - this is a serious, serious limitation in the 'contact form' function. Resolutely unimpressed with current functionality.

It would take at least 24-48 hours for an email response to ping-pong back n forth. An email enquiry comes in, then a response with a contact telephone number can be responded to within minutes & a potential sales-lead pursued!

I appreciate this may required some programmatic effort to achieve, but surely adding a contact telephone number on a 'contact us' form should receive the utmost priority!

I can appreciate your concern and I see that you have a valid point. The issue is not so much just adding a field as it is that if I add the field it will be added for everyone else and as well. This means that for a lot of people that don't want or need the phone number field will be forced to have it on there as well. So really there needs to be a solution that let's you customize the fields as you choose.

Having said that, this is for sure a priority and will do my best to add the feature with the next major update to the My Pages application. In the meantime a workaround might be to just add some text before the contact form asking them to leave there phone number in the comments area.

I have a similar problem, as I work with up to 10 languages on my sites…: it would be useful to me to be able to edit the contact forms, as they are standard only in english. Also, being able to use special characters would be useful (äöü, éèëñ) If that is not possible, then at least forms in four or five standart languages would be helpful (p.ex. german, french, spanish, russian, greek)

You have to go into your account settings and change the email there at the moment.

Any way to embed the FORMSPRING code within SNAPPAGES?

That way we could use advanced FORMS and multi page FORMS?

Maybe I'm missing something?

Yes, I am having similar problems.

I just started on a page to a non-english speaking country. I would like to change the "Name" etc. to the appropriate language. Is there no way to do this at this time?

Thanks
Kristian

Thanks Steve

Now that we are talking about the 'Contact Form' - would it be possible at any point in the future to allow for integration with Salesforce and the Google AdWords contact form system? You can read more about it here:
http://www.salesforce.com/products/google/adwords/

It is an extremely helpful way to track leads and measure marketing campaigns at the same time.

Thanks again Steve - keep up the good work! :)

Just another vote for a more feature rich contact form (custom fields, alternate recipients etc.).

Great work on Snappages so far though. I've managed to turn at least two people on to it.

Good news, I'm making some updates to the contact form that should be up later this week that will allow for some more customization. I'll update everyone on the blog and in here when the changes are live.

The new updated contact form is now live on the site. You can now go in and customize to send to a specific address and more.
