How to add friends ?

Hi there !
I was wondering how you could add friends except by sending invitations ? Is there a way to make new friends inside SnapPages, within the SnapPages community ?

I had the same question since I don't actually have any friends that use snappages yet. How do we find other members? I think that there should be a browsing page so we can browse the albums that members have posted for public. This way we can find people with similar tastes. Just a thought.

Yeah I new this issue would come up eventually. Right now snappages is intentionally a much more "closed" environment then most websites you see online right now. The reason for that is b/c there is a large number of people out there that are scared off if they think there information or photos are going to be made public for everyone to see. Even if this is an irrational fear it still keeps a lot of people from signing up online. Right now what we are trying to do is create an environment were people feel safe online and don't have to worry about any sort of privacy invasion.

I know to most this will seem far off but right now SnapPages is more about creating useful applications that the average person enjoys using and connecting more with existing friends and family members.

Having said that, I am always open for discussion on the pros and cons of any idea so feel free to share your opinions on the matter.

I think this features needs to interface with social medias such as Facebook. I nice idea would be to use Facebook connect and the new graph API to allow a more collaborative environment for friends, but also to allow better interaction with Facebook. I tested embedding Facebook code into SnapPages as code snippets but in some cases the apps does not show or does not work.

That being said, there are great potentials for Snappages.

Yes, to be honest this feature needs some serious updating before it become really useful and we do have plans for doing this.

I think snappages is fine, but a few things needed to be fix. And i think the code box should be free for non-members! I have heaps of widgets I cant put in
