Multiple images in themse

I would like to have multiple images at the top of the page, I guess in the theme mode. I can upload a logo which is great but I would like to put multiple logo's or images in the theme. Is this possible.

I do this all the time by simply combining images in a single png or jpg and uploading it as a logo or image (depending on the Theme). Works great!
