how do you get the annoying "my website- welcome to my website" to go away? help!

title is self explanatory.....tried editing the theme and everything else i can find....still won't go away am i missing something? please help

1. Go to Home.
2. Click on the botton "Settings"
3. You will see an option named "Site Tagline." There, you can see like a box where says the annoying "my website-welcome to my website."
