Hey Steve,
first of all congratulations for such a brilliant idea. Think its just a matter of time and some marketing and your site will get some headlines.
Tried to create my first own website but for some reasons I cant upload my pictures. They are not that big and in the right format. (jpeg).
When I try to upload them all I see is the grafic that shows that he is still uploading but even after 20 min nothing happend.
Thx

Thanks for letting me know about this, I'll check into it. Are you trying to upload photos through the photo management tool or are you uploading from the page editor itself?

Hey Steve,
I've tried both ways and none of them is working.
Also tried different options in the photo manager. Like uploading them in a (new/existing) album or just try to add them to my library. Used a tag or without a tag but its always the same. Just see the grafic that shows he is uploading and below the statement 0 of 1 uploaded.
Thx

What type of photos are you trying to upload. How big are the files?

New user. Love SnapPages. I've got the basic site up and running but can't see my pictures. Haven't used the photo album page yet, I am just talking about little photos alongside text of Home page etc. The upload and appear in design phase. Just not visible to site visitors.

I had the same thing happen to me this morning. I've already uploaded to a page before w/no problems. This morning I tried and got the same hang up. Tried a few times more, resized the pic and still no go.

I noticed that even though it will continue in the "upload" mode, if I X out of the browser, open a new one a photo will be there but you cant see it. If I sort to details its name is there but it can not be seen. It can be moved to the trash.

It might be possible that there is an invalid character in the filename of the image you are trying to upload. Can you tell me the file name and also the file type?

All jpeg.
Original: apdt_logo_full_print
Resized: apdt_logo_325_200
Let me add by saying the picture that "would not appear" would be in my photos. There I would see the file name but no image. I am able to open these images on my computer with windows, PS CS2 and all other programs. And I uploaded images to the website the day before with no problems and no resizing (my pictures are pretty big).

Would it be possible to send me one of the photos that isn't working so that I can do some testing on my end? You can email it to support (at) snappages (dot) com.

I am unable to upload them either. In fact when I try to open them in photoshop CS4 for windows I get the following error "Could not complete your request because an unknown or incomplete JPEG marker type is found". Now I could view them if I just opened them in windows default image viewer, but this tells me there is something wrong with the images themselves. How are you saving them?

That must have been it, although I could open it with other programs.
Thanks!
